Another week, another set of growth and milestones. Hopefully everyone saw our 1 week update. We put some photos of the puppies up as well as mentioned their first milestones. Puppy parents can start visiting now. However I would recommend waiting till week 3/4 for them to be more interactive.
Week 2 Milestones
The biggest and most visible milestone this week is their eyes opening. Roughly around 8 days we could see just a little bit of the inner corner eye begin to open. Day 11, around half of the pups eyelids were totally open. The rest opened fully on day 12. Now they begin to see, learn, and understand their surroundings. Their vision won’t fully develop till week five, but they are learning to focus now. Their dark blue puppy eyes are now visible for everyone to see. The blue is only temporary of course.
This week they have also began to walk. They’re not very graceful, but their wobbly legs have began to hold them up in spurts. In a week or so they will begin to excel at their walking. For now we get to experience their wobbliness. Next week their will be lots of milestones to report.
Weekly Photos
The puppies have pretty much doubled in size since they were born. Below are individual photos of the puppies with their temporary names and current weight. No one is obligated to keep their names as we identify them.
Boys
Samwell/Sam (Black)
Our biggest boy, and lightest in gold weighs 3lb 8oz. He has big eyes when they are open. First to appear sitting on hind legs.
Jon (Grey)
He is 3lbs 6oz.
Petyr (Yellow)

He is 3lbs 4oz. I love how his facial profile is developing.
Tyrion (Dark Blue)
Our smallest boy is 2lbs 14oz. Has more color than most of the others. He was really tired when taking the photos, so we were lucky to get one with his eyes open.
