When I was searching for a stud for Tina, I looked for a long time to find the right pedigree. I narrowed my search to 3 candidates. One of which we will use in the future, and Tramin De Bon Matin which we have the privilege to use now. I found Mitya’s pedigree from Tramin Retrievers in Ukraine. Lena Ushan from Tramin has bred many fantastic goldens, including Tramin Arni Joy who is a World Dog Show CACIB Dog winner. Mitya has won his own championships and also is the son of Remington Ringmaster (another great champion stud dog). Recently I found out that Summer Brook Acres now owns Mitya. Which made it easier to use as a stud and luckily they were willing to let us use him. I chose Mitya for many reasons. I wanted a larger male with a boxy face, calm temperament, as well as an exceptional topline. I feel his attributes will compliment Tina’s features. Since I feel so confident in the pairing I will be keeping a female to continue their line. A line that I intend to show here in the United States and in Europe.
